A good video to watch if you want to change your battery in a VF Commodore.
I just did mine in my Motorsport but replaced with a Century DIN65LHX from Super Cheap Auto for $258.30 - 30% off for Boxing Day Sale.
The video didn’t mention the ventilation pipe on the left side of the battery. All you need to do is pull it out from the old battery and put it back in when the new battery goes in. You don’t need to change to pipe that comes with the battery. SCA also recycles your old battery for free.
With the trimming plugs, get a small flat screwdriver to lift the centre part of the plug and then pull the plug out.
Seems like a big job but it’s actually easy once you remove the side trimming.

Apparently there is a class action for faulty transmissions against Holden. https://www.mauriceblackburn.com.au/holden/
I believe the Motorsport transmisison is 6L80.

Maurice Blackburn, with support from litigation funder, Balance Legal Capital, is conducting a class action against General Motors Australia and New Zealand Pty Ltd in the Federal Court of Australia in relation to faulty transmission systems in certain Holden Vehicles.

Hi Everyone, just seeing if there is an interest in joining a cruise in the next few weeks before we see the last of these Summer days. Motorsport Director And Magnum Owners Group are looking at organising one in Sydney and we would organise one in Melbourne on the same day. The cruise is for LE owners and anyone else who would like to join in. Will be looking at finishing up somewhere central close to the CBD but open for ideas.
