A win for powerhouse Aliza! 🏆

A massive congratulations to Aliza Harris, who took out the Junior Drag Bike win last weekend at the All Bike Nationals at The Bend.

Aliza recently joined us at Race Bikes for work experience, and it was a pleasure having her in the shop with her passion for motorcycles and racing.

She's already building an impressive racing career, finishing third in the ANDRA Junior Drag Bike Championship in her debut season, and her latest victory sees her move into second in the current championship standings.

We're positive she's got an incredibly bright future ahead of her, we're proud to have played a teeny part in her journey and can't wait to see what the next few years have in store for her.

FAQ: Do you need to tune your bike after fitting an exhaust?

In many cases, yes.

Factory exhaust systems can be pretty restrictive, and when you swap to an aftermarket system, you’re changing how the engine breathes.

Without adjusting the tune to suit, the bike can run lean, rough or just generally not as well as it should, and you may not be getting the performance benefit you expected from the new exhaust anyway.

A proper tune allows us to adjust the fuelling to suit the bike and the modifications you’ve made, helping it run smoother and get the most out of your setup.

A big part of keeping a race bike competitive isn't just what happens on the track, it's the work that happens between meetings.

In between each racing round, we'll go right through the bike from front to rear, replacing worn components, changing the oil and filter, flushing brake fluids, fitting fresh tyres, inspecting bearings, checking for leaks, and cleaning and lubricating the chain.

We also review the suspension setup and make any necessary adjustments to ensure the bike is ready for the demands of the next circuit.
