Out with the old and in with the new! The trailers tailgate seal was old and worn on GKN Transport’s sterling. Unfortunately due to winter the sikaflex hadn’t set by the time they had to leave for work, so we returned the same day of report to re-install and problem solved!

Unfortunately after replacing our clutch, the front bearing in our gearbox decided to let go.

Another day, another breakdown.

We had our littlest apprentice with us today.

This Iveco PowerStar had to have both batteries replaced after a complaint of the truck not starting, after replacing both batteries the truck started. We noticed there was an engine light on, we will need to return once we have our diagnostic computer on hand to find the engine light fault.

Today we attended a breakdown for one of our customers on the Hume Highway/Picton Road exit.

We checked the complaint of a major air leak behind the dash companied by a low air buzzer alarming.

We found that the low air pressure switch had snapped inside the airline manifold on the firewall as pictured.

We replaced both the manifold and the low air pressure switch, back on the road and off to work the Mack goes. 🥳
