Just wanted to share a bit of info with everyone on a pretty significant pick up we found yesterday.
So we had a lovely older lady in for a service and check over and when we got to resetting the the service km I noticed it was in miles per gallon so changed it back to the metric Km now in this process it changed the odometer back to km as well when talking to the customer she explained how it was such a good purchase with little amount of km on it.
(Around 160,000 give or take)
I then had to inform the poor old love that in changing it back to km it actually had around 270,000km
And she was reading it in miles,

The poor old duck was beside herself in disbelief that someone had advertised the vehicle as having low km for its age.

We just wanted to share this information as a heads up as something to lookout for when purchasing a second hand vehicle.(not everything is as it seems unfortunately)

The really disappointing part is that it had been to numerous workshops for servicing and maintenance and not been picked up.

We might be a bit more expensive than other place but we like to pay attention to detail when we have a vehicle in and we like to create a positive relationship with our customers.

If you are looking for at purchase a second hand vehicle give us a message and we will be more then happy to give it a once over for.

Happy Sunday everyone hope you have all remembered to change your clocks back,
We have some spots available this week Thursday and Friday and a heap of free spots available the following week for any services and repairs so with winter coming in pretty quick with every service we will do a complimentary battery test cos there is nothing worse on those cold mornings than going out to your car and finding out that you have a dead battery.

We have been pretty flat out lately at the Bearded mechanic and have been thinking what would make life a bit easier for people and have done a few pick up and drop off services.
So for an extra $50 we will pick your car up from anywhere around Launceston service it and drop it back to you.
So you don't have to pile the kids into the car or ask if you can leave work to get your car serviced and then leave again to pick it up.
