Our deepest condolences go to Brody Woolley and the entire Woolley family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this incredibly difficult time.

Charlie was a constant presence on the infield and a familiar face to so many drivers over the years. His dedication, kindness and commitment to keeping our drivers safe will be remembered by the many people who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rest in peace Charlie. You’ll be missed by us all.

AutoKlene Hobart Raceway and Gulf Western and Independent Oils Latrobe Speedway are proud to welcome Bennett’s Petroleum as a partner for the upcoming 2026/27 speedway season.

With a proud Tasmanian history dating back to 1977, Bennett’s Petroleum has grown into a statewide fuel business while remaining locally owned and operated.

Now, Bennett’s Petroleum is getting behind speedway and helping fuel the action at two of Tasmania’s premier speedway venues.

From the opening lap to the final chequered flag, speedway is built around horsepower, competition and the people who make every race meeting possible. This partnership is another great example of a Tasmanian business supporting the sport and the communities that surround it.

A word from Promoter Guy Thompson

“We’re extremely pleased to welcome Bennett’s Petroleum as a partner of both AutoKlene Hobart Raceway and Gulf Western and Independent Oils Latrobe Speedway.

Bennett’s Petroleum is a proudly Tasmanian business with a long history in our state, and we’re really excited to have them involved with speedway.

Their support will help us continue to build on what we’re delivering at both venues and provide an even better experience for our competitors, teams and fans.

It’s fantastic to see Tasmanian businesses getting behind Tasmanian motorsport, and we look forward to working closely with the Bennett’s Petroleum team throughout the season.” - Guy Thompson, Promoter
