Kool story

In 1957, John North traded in his 1936 Ford at Fitzgerald Ford, drove home a brand-new Fairlane, and sent it straight to the body shop.

North was president of the Choppers of Rockville in Rockville, Connecticut. He had Riverside Auto Body nose it, deck it, rake it, and hang lake pipes on it. Under the hood sat an E-code engine with two four-barrel carburetors and a floor-shifted manual. Sometime after the 1958 Hartford Autorama, the car picked up gold scallops, pinstriping, molded-in lake pipes, and dummy spotlights. They called it the White Pearl.

This photo shows John and his young son Mark polishing the car in the driveway, hood and trunk up. Between 1957 and 1960, the White Pearl ran in Rod & Custom, Car Craft, Hot Rod, and plenty more.

We will heading north west for this event and its coming at us quickly, load the trailer up, took it up to the 35, throw the kids in and hope for warm weather. we'll be set up on Friday night and Sunday

Saturday was Maddie's Kool car and bike cruiser. Maddie is 16 and wants to go help out wildlife and commities in Borneo. Craig Issell put on a cruise with a pub lunch, raffles and Auction to the Inverleigh Hotel down near Geelong. Great day out, really well attended from people both near and far. These are a pair of 1933-34 Ford Commerical vehicle Reproduction headlights. Made by Vintique they are 9 inch in diameter and have a 12 volt H4 halogen globe inside along with a turn signal globe that replaces the park light globe. These are a very popular option on Hot Rods and can be put in place on passenger cars. Stainless steel construction with black powder coated bucket which you could fit the way it is or paint it to match your car.
