Then and now.

Two shots here of the same Nissan 300ZX, nearly 20 years apart.

Wearing yellow paint, driven by Shane Holmes and seen here at a test and tune at the Perth Motorplex in October 2005. In the blue colour scheme, after retiring from racing and then finding a new life under the care of Ryan Gosling and Wild Goose Racing, we see the same 300ZX hitting the strip at the Motorplex's NitroSlam event in January 2025.

The team and I are keen to get back out there racing again in Super Sedan. A new season is just around the corner, and it’ll be exciting to see what it brings with the resurfaced track.

A new drag strip at Perth Motorplex has been given the green light, with the successful tenderer awarded the contract to construct the $4.97 million project in time for the start of the 2026/27 drag racing season.
