Another KAD 16 valve powered Midget finished and ready to head back to the owners in NSW. After a long time off track due to various mechanical issues we were called upon to help get it sorted and ready to race. A full engine, diff and brakes refresh including mods to make a bit more room for the driver and sort the floor mounted pedal box layout for more foot room and pedal feel, also sorted a long term problem with a driveline vibration related to the design of the short tail Sadev sequential gearbox. Everything back in good working order and ready for plenty of time at the track, looking forward to seeing it being pushed to the limit and taking it up to the big cars 🏁

The sweet little Bugeye we built nearly 10 years ago was back in for some attention to keep it feeling new, still drives like it was built yesterday, a real sleeper and turns heads every time it hits the roads πŸ‘ŒπŸΌπŸ‘ŒπŸΌ

Another classic rolls out the door at PowerPlay, a mid 90’s MGRV8, 3.9 ltr Rover motor in a lightweight car, very English with plenty of leather and walnut inside. Brief was to bring the car back up to a high standard with some improvements so it could be used everyday if needed, all front end and crossmember out, blast and powdercoat everything satin black, rebuild both ends underneath with all new upgraded bushes, ball joints, bump stops and anything else required, full strip and rebuild all brake components, weld up all the cracks in the stainless headers and collectors and wrap them to get some heat soak out of the cabin and fix the long list of small annoying items, sagged engine mounts, leaking oil pressure switch, leaks in the cooling system, loose ignition lock, sagged doors, rattling windows, etc etc etc, give it a polish to make it look as good as it goes and hopefully many years of trouble free blasting now for the customer.
