What is a Super Sprint?

A Super Sprint is a Motorsport Australia speed event where drivers compete against the stopwatch, not each other.
You’ll share the track, but the focus is on setting your best possible lap time—combining the thrill of circuit racing without wheel-to-wheel contact.

Perfect for both seasoned drivers and newcomers wanting real track experience in a safe and structured setting.

Driver & Vehicle Requirements

Driver:
• Motorsport Australia Speed Licence (approx. $130–$150, available online)

Personal Gear:
• Approved helmet (AS/NZS 1698 or higher)
• Long sleeves, long pants (non-flammable preferred)
• Closed-toe shoes

Vehicle:
• Road-legal tyres (any brand)
• Suspension, brakes, and weight reduction mods allowed
• Sound mechanical condition
• Minimum 3-point seatbelt
• 900g fire extinguisher (metal bracket, within reach)
• Front & rear tow points
• Battery & tow decals
• Roll cage optional

Saturday 28 June – GR Test & Tune
4 x 20-minute practice sessions (GR-only group)

Sunday 29 June – Televised Race Day

Today I had the awesome pleasure of firing this beautiful beast back up into action after a very long time stored away, after a nice indepth service and checkover, This Brabham BT18B with a Cosworth SCB engine is a very nice bit of kit, they knew how to do it back in the day.

Well done, an awesome job and massive congratulations to Ford Performance, Multimatic Motorsports on a well deserved and hard earned GT3 Pro class victory at the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona, plus a P3 in the GTD Pro class with the second car.

It’s a Global first win for the Ford Mustang GT3, which in our opinion and research is the best GT3 platform currently available in the world.

Hopefully we will see one on Aussie shores soon.
