ANNOUNCEMENT!
Hi all, after 9 great years Doug has decided he would like a change of scenery and will be departing Smith's Mechanical. We know Doug has built a great rapport with many of you and he will be a great loss to our business. Moving forward we have made the difficult decision to cease work on cars/4wds to all private customers. Finding staff currently is exceptionally difficult and we simply can’t spare any of our truck mechanics to take over Doug’s customers. We have also decided to put more of our focus on the heavy vehicle side of things and as such it would make little sense to search for a new staff member to fill a role we no longer feel suits us. We understand this may be an inconvenience to many of you and we apologize. Harrisville Mechanical and Kalbar Tyre and Mechanical are two options within close distance. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to me and be sure to pop in and say farewell to Doug, his final day will be Thursday 21st March. He will continue to take on bookings until this time so if you have a service due or any outstanding repairs please call to book soon.

Hi all, after a hectic few years we are all feeling exhausted and have decided to close for 2 weeks over the festive season. We will be finishing up this Friday 22nd Dec and returning Monday 8th Jan. Scott especially is in need of a rest and as such our breakdown service will not be available during this time. We thank you for your support this year and look forward to seeing you all in 2024.
