We’ve been closed this past week while we took some time to celebrate our wedding and enjoy a short honeymoon.

There’s nothing more satisfying than sighting down a car and seeing the panels sit flush with even gaps and body lines that are straight as an arrow.

A lot of work has gone into correcting the poor factory alignment on this VB Commodore. Door rubbers were fitted, panels adjusted, bodyworked and blocked panel to panel so everything now sits straight.

Now in the final stages of prep ready for a wash down, blow out and masking before it’s rolled into the booth to lay down the paint.

This Boss 335 FPV GT R-Spec is a rare car, and this beauty, meticulously maintained with only a few thousand kilometres, came in looking like it had just rolled off the showroom floor.

A full paint correction was carried out to bring out the clarity and depth of the Kinetic Blue paint, followed by Gtechniq ceramic coatings applied to the paint, glass, and wheels to enhance and protect this prized possession for years to come.

This HSV GTS came in for a front bar repair and respray.
Plastic welded and repaired some cracks and got it all sorted ready for a wedding this weekend.

I gave this one a tidy up a few years back with a partial respray, plus painted the wheels and calipers.

Great looking car that I was lucky enough the owner let me take it for a spin and it goes like a rocket 🚀 😎

The engine bay of the VB Commodore now painted after a lot of hours sanding and smoothing it out.

Finishing up the week with John’s Torana.

It came in for a buff and polish after some chemical was accidentally spilled on the paint. After a big day on the lambswool buff pad, it’s back to looking just as good as the day I first painted it 14 years ago.

Busy week to finish off the month with 6 cars through for a mix of buff polishes, paint correction, ceramic coatings and interior protection.

Also in the mix this month, between working on the VB, a HJ Premier came through for a lower grille paint and fit, grille swap, and some sandblasting/treatment of surface rust inside a door. Plans are for it to come back for a few more tidy ups, maybe even a full respray.
