absolute nightmare, usually leaves you stranded out in the bush spewin'.

why we only run the GOLD series boards on our stuff.

cooking one of these is practically unheard of.

can't cheap out on electronics inside a gearbox, they cop way too much heat and vibration.

We see it all the time: a rig drives off the dyno feeling great, but the second you hook a heavy trailer up or hit a decent hill, it falls on its face.

The rollers are a controlled environment with steady load.

Out in the real world, things get messy. Heat builds up, load shifts, and if the tune wasn't built to handle those actual road conditions, it falls apart.

You can't just tune for a flat road with no weight; you have to calibrate for the conditions the car actually lives in.

Dale from Performance 4x4 has seen it all when it comes to engine conversion fails.

Heaps of blokes are using mismatched parts, cheap silicone, or mystery second-hand injectors, it's just asking for a bad time. Doesn’t matter how good the tune is if your plumbing isn't up to scratch or the fuel pump is dying. Issues with bead rolls and hose clamps really hold things up on the rollers.

Build it right the first time with quality gear and save yourself a massive headache on the dyno.
