"We were due to pick up our new caravan last Friday, but when it came time to hook up, nothing worked on our tow vehicle. Although Steve was fully booked he still attended as he was passing and fixed enough of the problem so that we could tow and then came to the caravan park on the Saturday (even though he doesn’t usually work weekends)to fix the other problems. Our whole trip would have been ruined if it wasn’t for Steve who went out of his way (and in torrential downpours too) to fix everything for us. Highly recommend, nothing is too much trouble and his work is extremely high quality".

It was great to meet Tony and do a small upgrade to his new Jayco Jpod X.

Tony and his wife are keen to do some off grid camping with friends. We added a 180Watt solar panel to the rooftop to charge the battery during sunlight. This will allow their fridge and lighting to operate for longer periods of time and not have to worry.
If you have friends or family who would like a solar upgrade like Tony then please share this post with them.

Today I helped out some first time caravaners!

They were on their first trip when a 12-volt fridge issue nearly brought their adventure to a halt — but luckily, they found me just in time.
I found some circuits not matching up in the 12 pin trailer plug causing the problem.
After making a few quick changes I got them back up and running so they can hit the road with confidence!
Always a great feeling helping fellow travelers stay powered and stress-free.

G’day Road Trippers 👋

Big news from RTR… we’re taking a year off to do some adventuring! My wife and I have been dreaming about having a so-called “Gap Year”, and 2024 feels like the right time to jump into the deep end. We’ll be taking an extended period of time off to eat, drink and explore our way through Europe.

Because of such, I’ll be pressing ‘pause’ on Road Trippin' Ready operations for now, coming back in early-2025. A huge thanks to all of my customers who have made these initial couple of years of RTR an epic adventure in itself - as much as I’m looking forward to the travel ahead, I’ll probably be itching to get back on the tools in no time!
