Some builds are more than just cars.

This HX Holden Kingswood Deluxe started as a project between a father and son — a way to spend time together turning spanners and making memories. Sadly, his dad passed away six years ago, but the project never stopped.

Now the old girl is getting the love she deserves, built to make the ole boy proud.

Running all original gear including the 4.2L, T-bar auto and 10 bolt Salisbury, she still wears her original Contessa Gold paint, paired perfectly with a pearl white roof and a set of BCI Smoothies to finish it off.

Wheel setup:
• 17x6.5 front
• 17x8 rear
• 215/50R17 front tyres
• 245/50R17 rear tyres

Best part? Our standard backspacing worked a treat — plenty of room, no scrubbing, even with the car loaded up.

We absolutely love seeing builds like this. Classic Aussie steel done properly 👌
