Before visiting the next caravan show, here are some things we wish all customers knew:

Visit the dealership and ask about a show deal in the yard before the show! Usually a yard special can be just as good without the stress of the show.

Ask what deposit is required and when payment for the van is due. If a business asks for a deposit larger than $5k or 10% or the van price, and requires full payment long before handover, these are red flags!đźš©

What condition is your trade in van? An honest assessment of your trade in at the time of sale can save you from a surprise at handover. Come prepared with current pictures (even of the flaws) as these will be helpful in getting you an accurate trade assessment.

What is your towing vehicle? Have your towing vehicle numbers handy. Our last video breaks these down so you know which figures are important.

How far is the dealership to where you live? You’d hate to fall in love with a van only to have to drive all day for pickup or minor warranty and servicing.

What is your storage space for a caravan. If you’re new to caravanning or haven’t done a ton of research, you might be surprised to find how large today’s caravans can be. Knowing how much space you have to store a caravan can help you quickly narrow down options.

✨ Melbourne’s next show kicks off in just a couple of weeks! Come visit Caravan Court and let us help you get into your new caravan with service you can trust.
