Remember our post a few weeks ago about refitting the rebranded version of IGLA.
After seeing the lack of care taken, we were asked to check over the installation on his other vehicle. While we were at it, fitted and paired TeleCompass GPS system to the current immobiliser.
This installation on this vehicle was just as bad, if not worse. The installer made no attempt to hide the device, and better yet, couldn’t even use solder.
Instead they did the old “twist and tape”. Risking a loose connection that could have potentially left this customer stranded and potentially causing device resetting etc.
This is simply not good enough by our standards. Going against manufacturers installation specifications and making realistically no effort to protect this vehicle from theft.
With the competitors charging $1400-$1800 to install the same device that we charge $1188 for, you would expect a pristine and perfectly hidden installation by the self proclaimed “best can-bus immobiliser”
Come on, DO BETTER! Customers are spending their hard earned money on these installations and to have installers like this cutting corners, pocketing the cash and wiping their hands as soon as they leave.
This is why training matters. If an IGLA installers was caught installing like this, would be let go immediately. No questions asked.
We’ve seen multiple rebranded IGLA’s fitted by our competitors in a similar manner as this. I’d hate to imagine how many hundreds of vehicles aren’t really as protected as their owners believe.
IGLA installers are here to care and protect people’s cars and give customers the absolute best chance on keeping their pride and joy where they parked it.
No rushing, no quick jobs. Just pride and care in the service and products we offer.
DO BETTER!
