But here's the serious part: that fine dust can:

💦 DRY SEASON WATERHOLE ADVENTURES! 💦
The waterholes are perfect right now—but some still require creek crossings to access!
Before crossing any water (even in dry season):
Check depth first (walk it if possible)
Know your vehicle's wading depth
Go slow and steady
Keep momentum but don't create a bow wave
After water crossings:
✅ Check brakes (pump them a few times to dry them out)
✅ Check for water in diff breathers
✅ Look for any leaks
✅ Monitor for unusual noises
If you've done any water crossings, get a check-up! Water damage can show up days later.

Your cabin air filter might be clogged!
Most people don't even know their car HAS a cabin air filter—but it filters the air coming into your car through the vents.
In dry season NT conditions, these filters get clogged FAST with red dust.
Signs your cabin filter needs replacing:
• Reduced air flow from vents

• More dust settling inside your car

🦎 CROC COUNTRY DRIVING TIP: CHECK YOUR TYRES! 🦎
Before heading bush or into remote NT areas, ALWAYS check your tyres!
A flat tyre in town? Annoying.
A flat tyre 200km from anywhere in croc country? DANGEROUS.
What to check:
✅ Tread depth (legal minimum is 1.5mm)
✅ Tyre pressure (including your spare!)
✅ Sidewall damage or cracks
✅ Age of tyres (rubber degrades in our heat)
Prevention is KEY when you're hours from help!
We can do a full tyre inspection at your location before you head out. Peace of mind is priceless! 🙏

🛤️ BEEN ON GRAVEL ROADS LATELY? 🛤️
Dry season means more exploring on unsealed roads—and those roads can be TOUGH on your vehicle!
After gravel road driving, check for:
• Stone chips in windscreen
• Damage to undercarriage
• Loose heat shields or guards
• Damaged brake lines
• Cracked hoses
• Dents in sump
Even if everything seems fine, a quick inspection can catch small issues before they become big problems!
