Nice street combo

We rebuilt a nice 355 for a very tidy SS Torana. It was all done to be period correct externally, but a little overkill internally in preparation incase the engine gets a major upgrade down the road.

I have never seen silicon used between the block & bellhousing before, but there you go 🤷

We had a recently rebuilt 4” stroke LS dropped off to the workshop however unfortunately prior to arrival this engine would constantly drop oil pressure when travelling around 100k’s.

The cause of this issue turned out to be a damaged oil pickup.
Following this investigation we fitted a stock pickup, put in a new set of cam bearings and moved the cam shaft 2 degrees. The issue is now resolved and making some solid figures.
On the hub dyno it made 514.5hp on 98 octane and 542.3hp on e85.

Apologies all for the lack of Social Media Content, unfortunately we lost our old business page due to being hacked & this new page will pick up where we left off.

Jumping back in with a 6.0 litre LS that came in with a bottom end knock, after stripping it down was found to be a spun conrod bearing. Customer chose to go for a 4.00" stroke crank after seeing the condition of the original crank.
Turned out a nice street Engine with 506 hp on the hub dyno, after changing to a good set of "H" beam rods, rocker trunnion upgrade, LS7 lifters, some .080" wall pushrods with a complete spring kit & the usual LS upgrades.
Impressing numbers for untouched factory heads & manifold.
