At SG Chambers we have always strived to provide you with competitive prices and driveway friendly service. As a small local business, we value you as our friends, not just as our customers.
We want to directly address the recent, sharp increases in our fuel prices. We know this adds stress to your budget, and we want to be upfront about why this is happening.
The Cost of Supply: The price we pay for fuel from our supplier has increased significantly. Unfortunately to keep our pumps running, we have to pass on these costs.
Small Margins: Contrary to popular belief, independent stations make very little profit on fuel sales. Our profit margins on fuel are currently incredibly thin, and we are paying more just to bring the product to you.
We understand this is frustrating, and we want to assure you that we are not taking advantage of the situation. We are monitoring the market daily and promise to lower our prices as soon as our wholesale costs allow us to do so.
