Story time
Decided to head to tyre massacre as power natโs was canceled
Had a week to prep
Got sorted
Finished work early at 3:30 to get trotting at 4 the on 6 hour drive
Got 1 hour up the road
Tow car overheated
Sent it home swapped it out with the daily
So already losing 2 hours
Go 10 kms past were the tow car overheated
And the daily over heated
Shut off shat a lifter
Luckily was some people heading past who grabbed the trailer and the skid car and carted it back for me.
Bunny hopped the daily home but the lifter fu**ed
Rang the hotel cancelled the 2nd night threw in the towel
Come home unpacked
Skid car got returned roughly around 10;30
Mate called said come get heโs car to Ute
Hummed and Harrrddd about it no yes no
Decided okay f**k it
Letโs go
Rang the hotel RE booked the room
Car was a hour from home
So had ring the boss use the work van to get there
repacked the van up and got moving
Got to the car we were using to get there
Swapped trailer from the van
To the Ute
Unpacked all our stuff from the van into the Ute
Parked the van up
Had to get fuel
So drove another 30 mins in wrong direction to fill up
Got moving from the around around 12:30
โHad not slept since 7:30 am
Maps took
Me the worst possible way
Roads were fu**ed had to stop every 30-40
Mins to re do the tow straps
Was 1 hour out of benella maps sat me on a dirt track 30 kms the whole way,
Passing wombats , Roos and all sorts of creatures
Got the benella hotel 7 am
Had a shower
Went washed the skid car on the 10 minute drive to Winton
Got there car checked over all good
Was already dealing with cramps in toes feet,
Lack of sleep
No energy
Not hydrated
Absolute hammered
Pumped on
Unloaded car got going
All
Was well
Got to first skid
Body was ready to shut down
Pushed through got set off
Having surging problems
But car still did its thing just not at its best
Same goes second skid woke the f**k up got it done
Same issues
Come off have minor trans leak but still drove on trailer happy days
Punched on had enough
Got car loaded packed legged it back to hotel
Food and lots of hydration bed by 9:30
Up at 9
Packed car up got on treck home
Found Geelong way was faster
Went to mates house to return Ute
Went 30 mins back to van unpacked the Ute loaded the van
Swapped the trailers out
Last hour home LETS GO
Got home unloaded car
Warmed it up
Decided to have a look at floats
โTo lowโ
Hence the curving problem
Float needle thread to low so not coming up
Car shut off
Pushed c**t in shed thatโs tomorrows problem
2 tow cars down
Skid cars playing funny buggers
But 48 hours no sleep
2 sets off
Happy days
