We’ve had some seriously nice Classic German machinery through our Cairns and Smithfield workshops over the last couple of weeks! 🔥

Starting with two iconic Porsches — the Black G-Series 911 and the Silver 928 S4. Two completely different Porsches, but both absolute classics in their own right. 👌🏻

Then there’s this super rare 1995 Audi S2 Manual in black — one of only 25 officially imported into Australia! I genuinely had to rub my eyes when a new customer drove this down the driveway — just to make sure I wasn’t seeing things! 😎

And finally, something a little more modern, but certainly becoming a classic in its own right — an extremely low-mileage Volkswagen Passat R36, presented in immaculate condition.

Four very different examples of German engineering, from different eras, and every one of them absolutely packed with character. 🇩🇪

CAIRNS… YOU CAN FEEL IT STARTING TO HEAT UP! 🔥☀️
From HOT… to HOTTTTTER!! 🔥🔥

We’ve had the pleasure of having some seriously nice machinery through the workshop today, along with some other respectable vans and cars.

VW Golf R 7.5 — in for Stage 2, along with some tasty supporting modifications.

Mercedes-AMG C63 S — a stunning example in for its annual servicing and maintenance.

BMW M140i — looking aggressive and getting the treatment it deserves with a major service: all engine filters, spark plugs and fluids, brake fluid change, transmission service, running gear fluids, plus sorting out a couple of issues along the way.

Audi TT RS 2.5 TFSI 5-cylinder — in for a coolant pump replacement and to bring all its servicing completely up to date.

Porsche 997 911 Carrera 4S — an absolutely amazing example receiving a complete suspension refresh, front and rear. Only the best here: Bilstein PASM shock absorbers all round, along with all the associated mounts, bushes and supporting components to bring the suspension back where it belongs.

And finally, a beautiful classic Ferrari 412 — another special car receiving some suspension attention from the team.

Another busy day at Volks Centre Cairns — and judging by the weather and the cars coming through the doors, things are only getting HOTTTTTER! ☀️☀️☀️🇦🇺🇩🇪

This week, we had two beautiful examples through the workshop:

🇩🇪 2021 Volkswagen Golf Mk8 GTI — 2.0L EA888
🇩🇪 2025 Volkswagen Amarok — 3.0L V6 TDI

No hardware upgrades were required—just our MCTA Stage 1 ECU remapping software.

The Golf GTI achieved impressive gains while remaining safely within the capabilities of its factory engine and supporting components:

Stock: 180kW | 370Nm
MCTA Stage 1: 220kW | 486Nm
Gain: +40kW | +116Nm

The Amarok’s owner came to us concerned about the frustrating delay when pulling into intersections and entering roundabouts.

After installing our software, we took him for a drive and let him experience the difference firsthand. The smile on his face said it all—the delay was gone, with strong, immediate response delivered from the moment he touched the accelerator. 👌🏻

We also reversed the factory start/stop operation through the ECU software. The system now remains disabled whenever the vehicle is started and can be switched back on manually using the start/stop button.

Gain: +16kW | +90Nm

Today we had the pleasure of carrying out an MCTA Stage 1 performance software remap on this 2023 Volkswagen Golf R MK8.

It completely transformed the power and torque figures from 315HP to 380hp and 420nm of Torque to 500nm and giving the owner better fuel economy when driving conservatively. 🇩🇪🇦🇺
