This Everest came in for a full pre-sale detail and paint correction, and the difference is huge.

The black paint has been properly corrected to remove years of wash marks, swirls and dullness, bringing back the depth, clarity and gloss it should have.

Someone said to me the other day that I was too dear for a detail

And honestly, I’m completely fine with that.

If you’re looking for the cheapest detail you can find, I’m probably not your guy.

But if you’re looking for someone who takes the time to do the job properly, knows what they’re looking at, with 25 years experience and actually cares about the end result, then that’s where I come in.

I’m not interested in competing with the cheapest quote down the road.

Detailers are popping up everywhere now, but there’s a big difference between washing a car and actually detailing one properly.

I’ve had plenty of cars come through here needing work corrected after being done elsewhere, from well reknowned detailers, Interiors still dirty in the areas you don’t immediately see. Mould starting because the vehicle wasn’t dried properly. Trims covered in shiny dressing to make it look clean. Ceramic coatings with sections missed completely. Coatings applied over paint that should have been corrected first.

And ceramic coating rectification is where the cheap job can become a very expensive one, because that coating has to be polished back off before the job can even be started properly again.

I don’t boast about this or name businesses or post online trying to bring someone else down. That’s not how I operate.

I fix the car, the customer sees the difference, and we move on.

There’s a reason a huge part of my work now comes from repeat customers and word of mouth, and why I’m always booked ahead.

This Navara got a complete interior and exterior detail, while the trailer was given a full exterior clean-up.

The paint was then protected with Gtechniq Australia Crystal Serum Light and EXOv5, giving deep gloss, strong water repellency and long-term protection—while making it much easier to wash and maintain.

This came in with a water leak that needed more than a quick dry-out.

Once we started pulling the interior apart, we found moisture had made its way deep underneath the carpet and underlay.

Seats out, carpets up, interior stripped back, leak traced, then everything thoroughly cleaned, treated and dried.

The damp smell inside was pretty nasty, and that was a good warning sign that moisture had been sitting there longer than it should.

Thankfully, we caught this one just in time before the mould had a chance to really spread.

If your car has a water leak, damp carpet or that musty smell after rain, it’s worth getting it checked before a small problem turns into a much bigger one.

Customer: “It just needs a cut & polish…” 😅

Once we got this Holden SSV under proper lighting, it was pretty clear the paint needed a whole lot more.

Years of swirls, scratches and wash damage meant a 4-stage paint correction:

1️⃣ Coarse cut • Lambswool pad
2️⃣ Coarse cut • Hard foam pad
3️⃣ Medium cut • Medium foam pad
4️⃣ Final refinement • Soft finishing pad

A quick cut & polish can improve paint.

A proper paint correction is about actually removing defects, refining the finish and bringing the clarity back. 🔦✨
