Headlight Restore is Queensland’s first Company specialising in Headlight Restoration and repairs with many years experience in restoring headlights to as new again, applying advanced UV-A cured clear coat which is chemical resistant and non-yellowing ensuring your headlights remain crystal clear for many years. Headlights are made from polycarbonate, it is extremely durable at deflecting stones etc but unfortunately bare polycarbonate does discolour from the sun and other elements within months. For this reason car manufacturers apply a protective UV clear coat to prevent the headlights from discolouring and splintering in sun. But often as is the proven case especially in Queensland's harsh sun, the original factory UV layer degrades and needs to be replaced to protect the headlight lens again. Headlight Restore understand the importance of not just polishing headlights clean like most car detailers and mechanics do. This process of repairing lenses only last month damaging headlights further by discolouring through and causing splintering of the lens also know as crazing.
