Job Description

Jaz Performance & Mechanical are currently looking for an Apprentice Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team, either junior or mature aged.

Want to work at one of the highest quality & well respected workshops on the Northside of Brisbane?

Jaz Performance & Mechanical is known for having very high standards of workmanship in our industry.

Working with our qualified and skilled motor mechanics, you will gain valuable hands-on experience, mentoring and support.

If you have a passion for cars and want to make it into a career, this is the job for you!

Duties will involve:
* Diagnose and repair of vehicles.
* Servicing vehicles.
* Safety checks.
* Computer diagnostics .
* Maintenance of the workshop.

The successful candidate will:
* Be a confident communicator.
* Motivated with a genuine interest in the automotive industry.
* Be trustworthy and reliable.
* Be safety conscious.
* Have a manual license.
* Be able to work in a team environment
* Be smart in appearance
* Willing to succeed.
* Full-time position only.

Preferred but not essential:
* Have professional tools.
* Pre-apprenticeship training.

This will be an excellent opportunity for the right person to join our hard-working team, we look forward to your application.

⛽️Job role will include having the ability to work on various makes and models as well as being able to quote, order parts, maintain all stock, talk to customers to explain & show work carried out and invoice customers using xero⛽️

✨Requirements✨

🚙 Must be fully qualified with at least 2 years experience post qualification

🚗 Have open manual drivers license

🚙 Must have own professional tools

🚗 Be able to problem solve and use own initiative incl. use of the latest diagnostics equipment

🚙 Be smart in appearance and willing to succeed

🚗 Willing to have a long term future in our workshop

🚙 Be able to work in a team environment and carry out all aspects of servicing, repairs & maintenance

🚗 RWC & Air Con tickets preferred but not necessary *we can assist in getting these for you*

💥Full time work Monday to Friday, no weekend work (also open to being flexible with work hours or even a 4 day week, the choice is yours)💥
