Dumesny Tops USC SA Points

A consistent performance at the 60 4 60 Sprintcars over the March long weekend was enough for Marcus Dumesny to secure the 2019/2020 Ultimate Sprintcar Championship SA.

Dumesny, a normally NSW based driver was again entrusted to take the wheel of the SA Rowett Motorsport Team Sprintcar for the Murray Bridge based series and did not disappoint, with the team rewarded with a 2nd place podium finish in Round 3.

Moreover, Dumesny was able to finish every A-Main race at each round – proving critical in the overall points race.

The championship is another accolade for Dumesny, who has enjoyed a stellar season, including a 2nd placing at the 2020 Australian Sprintcar Championship.

Defending USC SA Champion Robbie Farr finished in second, with local driver Ryan Jones close behind in 3rd.

The Ultimate Sprintcar Championship SA is set to return in Season 2020/2021, with the first round to coincide with the Bill Wigzell Battle of the Bridge Opening Night on Saturday, September 19, 2020.
