From the early days of running the service station and mechanical workshop together, to what we are today a dedicated tyre and mechanical workshop that has continued to grow, improve and invest in the latest equipment. 💪🛞

🔧💦 6.4L HEMI Water Pump Replacement! 💦🔧

We had this Jeep Grand Cherokee 6.4L HEMI in the workshop today after the water pump had failed, causing some pretty awful noises and a loss of coolant. 😬

Once we got into it, we also found the cooling system was full of some pretty muddy-looking water definitely overdue for some attention!

✅ Cooling system thoroughly flushed
✅ New water pump fitted
✅ New thermostat fitted
✅ Fresh coolant added
✅ Cooling system properly bled & checked
✅ No more noises and no more coolant leaks 👌

With everything back together and the cooling system operating as it should, this big HEMI is ready to hit the road again for plenty more kilometres! 🚙💨

🚙 Toyota Fortuner – Mystery Coolant Loss Diagnosed & Fixed! 🔧💦

We had this Toyota Fortuner in today with an interesting issue but common issue it was losing coolant, but there were no visible leaks anywhere.

After pressure testing the cooling system and carrying out some further diagnosis, we tracked the problem down to a failed EGR cooler. The cooler was no longer holding pressure internally, allowing coolant to leak straight into the exhaust system where it was being burnt off. 💨

This meant there were no puddles or obvious signs of a leak, just a coolant level that kept dropping which is a good reminder that coolant loss doesn't always mean you'll see it on the ground!

We fitted a new EGR cooler, carried out a full service, replaced the fuel filter and took care of a few other maintenance items while it was in. 🔩🛠️

✅ New EGR cooler fitted
✅ Cooling system pressure tested
✅ Service completed
✅ Fuel filter replaced
✅ Coolant level now holding as it should

The Fortuner is now running much better, holding its coolant and ready for plenty more kilometres on the road ahead! 👌🚗

Another LandCruiser getting a much-needed suspension upgrade! 💪🔥

We had this one in today to replace the old, well-worn and sagged suspension with a fresh Tough Dog lift kit. 🛠️
