GoWest Driving School

Hello Canberra! 👋

My name is Paul, and I'm excited to introduce GoWest Driving School to the Canberra community.

With over 35 years of driving experience and more than 10 years as a professional driving instructor, I've helped hundreds of learners gain confidence behind the wheel and achieve their licence goals.

I provide patient, professional automatic driving lessons for beginners, nervous drivers, driving test preparation and overseas licence holders.

I'm currently servicing Belconnen, Gungahlin and surrounding Canberra areas and look forward to helping local learners become safe and confident drivers.

Feel free to get in touch if you'd like to book a lesson or have any questions.

The myLearners Free Lesson is a road safety education and coaching program designed to build the knowledge, skills and behaviours of Victorian learners and supervising drivers.

Learner drivers aged 16 to 19 years, and their supervising drivers will benefit from a complimentary 60-minute in-car coaching session delivered by an accredited professional driving instructor during the early stages of the supervised learning-to-drive period.

This program was developed in collaboration with driving instructors to improve road safety for new and young drivers. It aims to instil confidence in supervision and lay the groundwork for a lifelong commitment to safe driving practices.

The program complements the Graduated Licensing System and promotes learning resources, including the myLearners app, Road Rules Online and the myLearners website for ongoing self-paced learning throughout the 120 hours of practice.
