We see it all the time when people skip the basics after an accessory install—loose fittings, tyres that are “close enough,” and brakes that feel fine in the driveway but not on the first descent.

Here’s our Pre-Trip Walkaround (Perth conditions, quick and practical):
Check tyres: pressure + tread (don’t trust the dash after a long trip).
Underbody: quick scan for rock strikes, leaks, or anything hanging low.
Brakes: do they feel firm, even, and responsive?
