ขับผ่านไฟเหลืองได้ใหม

ไฟเหลืองที่ซิดนี่ย์ให้ชะลอและหยุดรถนะครับแต่ยกเว้นให้สามารถขับผ่านไฟเหลืองไปได้ถ้าการหยุดรถนั้นอาจทำให้รถคันหลังชนท้ายเรา
(Yellow light mean stop but you can enter the intersection if you are so close that sudden braking might cause a crash)
ไม่หยุดรถจะโดนปรับตกทันทีนะครับเพราะจะโดนข้อหา Disobeying traffic sigs, signals or road markings (F1)

ไฟเขียวแล้ว..ไปต่อทันที..ได้ใหม

หลังจากไฟแดงเปลี่ยนเป็นไฟเขียว เราต้องหันหัวมองซ้ายขวาก่อน ก่อนที่จะออกรถผ่านทางแยกเพื่อระวังรถที่อาจฝ่าไฟแดง คนเดินเท้า หรือสิ่งใด ๆ ที่อาจเข้ามาขวางเส้นทางที่เราจะไป (Green light mean proceed through the intersection carefully)

ไม่ทำจะโดนตัดคะแนนและถ้าไม่ทำครบ 3 ครั้งก็จะโดนปรับตกทันทีครับ เพราะจะโดนข้อหา Frequently not making required observation checks (F19).

Before proceeding through traffic lights (after red light turn to green), you must turn your head to check red light runner, pedestrian and any hazards that may enter into your path.

ขับรถผ่านวงเวียน (Roundabout Driving Rules)

1) ให้ทางรถทางขวามือของเราที่อยู่ในวงเวียนก่อนเสมอ
Vehicles entering a roundabout must give way to any vehicle already in the roundabout.
2) ก่อนถึงวงเวียน ให้เปิดไฟเลี้ยวในกรณีจะเลี้ยวซ้าย เลี้ยวขวาหรือกลับรถ แต่ขับตรงไม่ต้องเปิด
3) เปิดไฟเลี้ยวซ้ายทุกครั้งเมื่อออกจากวงเวียน
3.1) กรณีขับตรงผ่านวงเวียน 2 เลน (Multi-landed roundabout) (เหมือนในรูปประกอบข้างล่าง) ต้องเปิดไฟเลี้ยวซ้ายตอนออกจากวงเวียน
If practical, you must always signal left when exiting a roundabout.
3.2)กรณีขับตรงผ่านวงเวียน 1 เลน (Single roundabout) สามารถไม่เปิดไฟเลี้ยวตอนออกจากวงเวียนได้
It may be impractical to indicate left signal when exiting a roundabout.

ไม่เปิดไฟเลี้ยวหรือให้ไฟเลี้ยวไม่ถูกต้องครบ 3 ครั้งจะโดนปรับตกทันทีนะครับเพราะจะโดนข้อหา Frequently not signaling intention (F12).
