The key to a healthy DPF is focusing on what happens upstream in the combustion chamber. A DPF is simply a filter; if your engine is running cleanly and fuel is burning completely, there is less soot for the DPF to capture in the first place.

Using DXP is a practical way to manage your fuel quality upstream by eliminating moisture and promoting cleaner combustion. It won't fix a DPF that's already blocked, but it's a practical way to protect one that isn't.

Not all diesel is created equal. Poor quality diesel — low cetane, moisture contamination, particulate-laden fuel — produces more soot per combustion cycle.

More soot means your DPF fills faster, regenerates more often, and its working life gets shorter.

DXP, a premium diesel fuel additive, helps promote cleaner combustion, so less soot is produced per cycle and there's less load on your DPF.
