Not the news anyone wanted to hear but Wishing you all the best mate and hopefully we see you back behind the wheel when the time is right.

I’ll always be grateful to the entire Nylander family for trusting me to jump behind the wheel of the 54 last season. We certainly had some fun hauling ass in that thing!

An incredible family and race team and I can’t wait to see what they have planned next. Whatever is coming, I know the 54 will be one to watch 👀🏁

NYLANDER FORCED TO WITHDRAW FROM 2026/27 SEASON

A nasty accident sidelined Dave Nylander during the WA State Title back in March, forcing him to miss the last six race meetings of last season

Sustaining major concussion, as well as breaking his foot in 2 places, whiplash and other spinal concerns, he has been having consistent treatment over the last 6 months with ongoing complications.

This being said, Dave has been forced to make the tough decision to withdraw from the 2026/ 2027 Canning Vale Toyota Late Model Series.

“This decision was not made lightly, but I have to put my recovery first” said Nylander. “I had intended to be back behind the wheel leading into the season, but am suffering from a few concussion related concerns causing some major issues still, so have had to make the tough decision to withdraw“

But with one person’s misfortune, comes another’s opportunity.

Team Nylander will still be campaigning the 54 machine, and we have some exciting news to be announced over the coming days. Watch this space!

“It’s Mongos Turn”

They say, It’s never official till it’s official.

But after a few years out the seat & standing by his brothers side racing for 6 years, Tomorrow at Ellenbrook Speedway in the Development series Mongo is set to make his first run piloting the ex Jeff Roth TNT, this deal would have never come about with out the help, support & friendship of Jeff Roth & we all thank him & his family a great deal for Mongo to grab this opportunity.

Also huge thanks to Brent & Craig at Racin & also Geoff from C&R Motorsport Development for their time & efforts to get it all up & running.

Role reversal tomorrow, Joey will be in & under the car while Nathan enjoys a day in the seat.

Thought we would share something pretty cool.

While here in the USA and attending the Eldora Speedway Dream race in June, we managed to have time to attend the Dream Fan Zone autograph day & grabbed every single competitor on the roster to sign the Aussie Flag, they all thought is was very unique & at least a third of the drivers asked how they can come down under to race some day, it’s on a lot of drivers bucket lists to attend the Perth Motorplex.

Even got Joey Chittwood to sign a star.
