Hello everyone!! Adam Rose here! Hopefully your favourite photographer is coming at you from Street and Social SA crew!! bringing you photos from Friday night at Harbour Town / West Beach car park for the amazing event focused around Helen Sargent. In her memory forever and not forgotten. 💝
In collaboration with Street and Social SA, SA Performance Crew, Dead End Society and Nemesis Society!! We had a nice turnout, with some beautiful cars despite the weather turning bad just before the event, but cleared up great! I also have some video rolls I'll get to and include in a separate post.
Tag yourself if your car or friend is in the photos!
Thank you to everyone supporting Helen, the crews, the food and coffee vans, and myself!! With everyone's input we all make this happen. So thank you all for coming out, sharing the love. Being safe and organized and in all having a great night.

WHAT A NIGHT! 💜🚗 THANK YOU, ADELAIDE!

Firstly, we want to say a massive THANK YOU to every single person who came out last night to support our rally for Helen Sargent and her family.

What an absolutely amazing turnout, especially considering the circumstances and the last-minute change of venue!

We also want to sincerely apologise to anyone who didn’t see the venue change and ended up at Harbour Town.

Unfortunately, we were asked to leave Harbour Town despite having emailed management beforehand to advise them of our intentions. We received no response to that email, and ultimately, trying to do the right thing by notifying everyone beforehand left us having to relocate the entire event.

But despite that setback, YOU ALL STILL SHOWED UP! 💜

And that’s what last night was really about. A community coming together for something much bigger than cars.

💜 $600 RAISED FOR THE RSPCA!

Thanks to everyone who purchased raffle tickets and supported our fundraiser, we managed to raise an incredible $600 for the RSPCA! We are so grateful for your generosity.

💜 JUSTICE FOR HELEN SARGENT

A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to sign the petition supporting the Sargent family and their fight to bring about change and END CORRIDOR CARE IN OUR HOSPITALS.

Helen’s story deserves to be heard, and no family should have to experience what hers has been through.

Unfortunately, what had been such a wonderful evening for an incredibly important cause ended on a disappointing note.

Later in the evening, police attended and began stopping vehicles as attendees were leaving, issuing defect notices, including to one of our main organisers, John.

We have always made a point of notifying police about our events, maintaining a zero-tolerance approach to hooning and dangerous behaviour, and encouraging everyone to be respectful.

So to see the evening end this way, after so many people had come together peacefully to support such a meaningful cause, was extremely disappointing.

It was a sad ending to what had otherwise been an incredible night.

But we don’t want that to overshadow what we achieved together.

Hundreds of people came together, money was raised for charity, signatures were collected for Helen’s family, and the Adelaide car community showed just how much heart it has.

THAT is what we want people to remember about last night. 💜

To everyone who attended, donated, signed the petition, helped organise the event or supported us through the unexpected venue change — THANK YOU!

And most importantly, to the Sargent family, we hope last night showed you that you are not alone and that so many people in our community stand behind you.

💜 RALLY FOR HELEN — ALL CAR CLUBS & COMMUNITY WELCOME 💜

Street & Social SA, Nemesis Street Society , SA Performance Crew and Deadend Society are joining forces for a peaceful rally supporting Helen Sargent’s family.

We invite all car clubs, car enthusiasts and members of the public to stand with us.

📅 Friday 9 October 2026
⏰ 6:30pm
📍 Harbour Town car park
📣 Media will attend
💜 Tie a purple ribbon to your car in support.

Helen was a 64-year-old grandmother and great-grandmother from Kilburn who died alone in a corridor at the Royal Adelaide Hospital on 11 October 2025. Her family is calling for change, and this rally will help amplify their voices and demand that corridor care is not ignored.

Helen’s family has also launched a petition calling for an end to corridor care. Once it reaches 12,000 signatures, it will be presented to Parliament. Attend the rally, sign the petition and help drive meaningful change.

Everyone is welcome—with or without a car club. Bring family and friends, and share this invitation to help us gather strong community support.

🚫 ABSOLUTELY NO HOONING WILL BE TOLERATED — NO EXCEPTIONS.

No burnouts, skids, revving or dangerous driving. Anyone behaving this way will be asked to leave, and dangerous or illegal behaviour will be reported to police. Respect Helen’s family, each other and the venue.

Let’s come together peacefully, stand with Helen’s family and make our voices heard. 💜 coffee van will be there .. thanks to our great friends at roast busters
