In a few weeks’ time the annual historic race car meeting “Ventilspiel” will take place (October 5th, Red Bull Ring Austria). After a two year break and a major turbine repair I will participate again with my gas turbine driven recreation of “Jet 1”. In wenigen Wochen ist es soweit, am 5. Oktober findet wieder das Ventilspiel am Red Bull Ring statt. Nach zwei Jahren Pause und einer tiefergreifenden Turbinenreparatur kann auch ich wieder mit meinem Gasturbinenauto dabei sein. 1949 was the year of the introduction of the Rover P4 which makes 2019 the 70th anniversary. The Rover Club Austria is proud to announce a display of early P4 models during the “Oldtimermesse Tulln” this coming weekend (May 18/19th). On show will be amongst other things an early square dial Cyclops, a brisk “90” and the recreation of the gas-turbine car, “Jet 1R”. We are looking forward to numerous visits and lively discussions!

1949 wurde die Rover P4 Baureihe der Öffentlichkeit vorgestellt daher können wir 2019 das 70jährige Jubiläum feiern. Der Österreichische Rover Club wird daher einen Stand auf der Oldtimermesse in Tulln an diesem kommenden Wochenende (18/19. Mai, Halle 5) mit frühen Modellen dieser Baureihe füllen. Zu sehen sind unter Anderem ein ganz früher „Square-dial Cyclops“, ein schneller P4 90 und das Gasturbinenauto „Jet 1 R“. Auf zahlreichen Besuch und angeregte Gespräche freuen wir uns!
