Position Title: Marketing Officer
Organization: Etminan Rezayat Trading Company
Location: Kabul, Afghanistan
Reporting to: Sales and Marketing Manager
Contract Type: Full-time
Duration: 1 year, with the possibility of extension based on performance

Background
Etminan Rezayat Trading Company, established in 2023, imports and distributes high-quality car engine lubricants throughout Afghanistan, with a primary focus on Kabul. The company seeks a qualified and enthusiastic Marketing Officer to support the marketing initiatives and help drive business growth through innovative campaigns and customer engagement.
Job Purpose
The Marketing Officer will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating marketing strategies to boost product awareness and sales. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the sales team, conduct market research, and engage in customer outreach to strengthen the company’s position in the lubricant market.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy and Ex*****on
o Assist in developing and implementing effective marketing campaigns for lubricant products.
o Plan and organize promotional activities to increase product visibility and sales.
o Track and report the success of marketing efforts and suggest improvements.
2. Market Research and Analysis
o Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, industry trends, and competitor activities.
o Use data-driven insights to inform marketing decisions and identify new opportunities.
3. Branding and Advertising
o Develop and maintain marketing materials such as brochures, advertisements, and online content.
o Oversee the company's advertising efforts across digital, print, and social media platforms.
o Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels.
4. Digital Marketing and Social Media Management
o Manage the company's social media profiles and ensure engaging and relevant content is posted regularly.
o Collaborate on SEO strategies to increase online visibility and drive web traffic.
o Monitor and report on social media engagement and digital marketing performance.
5. Customer Engagement and Support
o Engage with customers to understand their needs and gather feedback for product improvement.
o Support the sales team with marketing collateral and promotional materials.
6. Event Planning and Management
o Organize and manage promotional events such as trade shows and exhibitions.
o Represent the company at business events to promote the product lineup.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Marketing from a reputable university in Kabul, Afghanistan.
• 1 year of experience in marketing, preferably in the automotive or lubricant industry.
• Strong understanding of marketing concepts, digital marketing, and brand management.
• Proficiency in social media management and digital marketing tools.
• Excellent communication skills in Dari, Pashto, and English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work both independently and in a team, and to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
• Event planning and management experience.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in market research.
• Creativity in developing new marketing initiatives to engage customers.
