ウェルカムパーティーがホテル椿山荘東京にて行われ、奥山がゲストとして登壇いたしました。｢TRAIN SUITE 四季島｣の生みの親である奥山だからこそお伝えできた秘話もあったのではないでしょうか。今日からの｢深遊 探訪｣が、皆様にとって特別な想い出となりますように。

A welcome party was held at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo, where Ken Okuyama took the stage as a speaker. As the creator of “TRAIN SUITE Shikishima,” he was surely able to share some behind-the-scenes stories that only he could tell. We hope that the “DEEP EXPLORATION” tour beginning today will create great memories for the special guests.

奥山が客員教授を務める、東北芸術工科大学で開催される市民向けクリエイティブ講座「夏芸大」にて講演を行いました。
市民の方、学生も含めて多くの方にお集まり頂き、中山ダイスケ学長とのトークも交えながら日本・地域のものづくり、職人技、山形でつくるKen Okuyama Carsのお話もさせて頂きました。
参加者からも多くのご質問などを頂き大盛況のうちに幕を閉じました。ご参加頂いた皆様ありがとうございました。

Ken Okuyama gave a lecture at “Natsu Geidai,” a creative workshop for the general public held at Tohoku University of Art and Design, where he serves as a visiting professor.
A large audience, including members of the public and students, gathered for the event. He spoke about Japanese and regional craftsmanship, artisanal skills, and the Ken Okuyama Cars project being developed in Yamagata, interspersing his talk with a discussion with University President Daisuke Nakayama.
The event concluded on a high note, with many questions from the participants.

本日、北米モントレーペブルビーチ・コンクール・デレガンス のコンセプトローンにおいて、最新フラッグシップモデル Kode89 をワールドプレミアとして発表いたしました。
また、コンクール・デレガンスに先行して、17 マイル・ドライブなどの当地景勝地をコンクール・デレガンス参加車両が走り抜けるツール・デレガンスにも特別参加し、サプライズのプレヴューを行いました。

Ken Okuyama Cars unveiled its latest flagship model, the Kode89, in its world premiere at the Concept Lawn of the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance on August 16, 2026,
which marks the climax of North Americaʼs Monterey Car Week. Prior to the Concours d'Elegance, the car also made a surprise preview appearance on August 13 at the Tour d'Elegance, where Concoursparticipants drove through scenic local roads such as the 17-Mile Drive.

併せて、Kode89のPVを特別先行公開いたします。

Ken Okuyama Cars Kode89 will make a surprise appearance at the Tour de L’Elegance scheduled at 9:30 a.m. (local time) on August 13.
Be sure to check out the flagship model, set to make its world premiere on August 16 at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance Concept Lawn.
